Getting well into the refurb of seats...currently halfway through re-conditioning & re-colouring a Morris Series E🤓

Today’s job was possibly THE most relaxing ever re-colouring a Bentley’s seats . It took a good half an hour to mix the stuff up to exact match but it worked out well I think. Glad I nicked my daughter’s paintbrushes to do the piping with🤓

Today I thought I’d share the stages of making a saggy baggy seat for an Ulster🙂Foam on seatbase, then a ‘pillowcase’ made from calico stuffed with coir & a layer of soft wadding. I’ve left an opening in the back of the seat so after a bit of time when the coir flattens, or if it needs more padding for comfort the customer can add more if required 🤓

Restoring original seats, some of the leather too far gone to re-use so new seat bases made. Rear seat ok though so applied a few patches & new stuffing & should have a good few more years. Forgot to take photos of the new panels & pockets☹
