The first Winter AM-AM for the 2017/2018 season took place on Sunday 29th October. The winners (with 82 points) were Linda Allwood, Andy Brown, Nick Hawkins and John Reid, and the Demon Golfer award went to Lauren Ecob (one of several Winter AM-AM newbies) - well done to all. The next Winter AM-AM will be held on Sunday 12th November so get your names down promptly.
In 1972 Peter Skinner was a silversmith and made The Parmeco Trophy for Rushcliffe Golf Club. He played today with a group from Chatsworth and this is the first time he's seen the trophy for 45 years.

The Club's second Presentation Evening was held on Friday 13th October 2017. Well done to all the prizewinners and to all the Club's Members "Here's looking forward to a great 2018 season ... play well."
On Saturday evening (14 October 2017) Rushcliffe's Annual Junior Dinner and Prizegiving was attended by over 90 persons. This annual event never ceases to be uplifting and is always thoroughly enjoyable. Congratulations to all our prizewinners
Rushcliffe's Mixed Section thoroughly enjoyed their Weekend Away (29 Sep - 1 Oct 2017) at Whittlebury Hall in Northamptonshire. A huge thanks to Sue and Rob Green for all their hard work in organising the event.
Congratulations to Phil Lynch on winning the Order of Merit final at the Belfry on Sunday scoring 35pts. Phil is a deserved winner having played consistently well all year and has dropped his handicap to 3. Runner up was his Dad James Lynch with 30pts. The whole event has been a great success with all the players having an enjoyable afternoons golf on the PGA National course. Many thanks to all the members who have supported the event throughout the season.
Congratulations to Dominic Banks, Leyton Neal, Chris Mason and Jack Mason on scoring 99pts and winning the East Leake Village Golf Championship at Rushcliffe on Saturday. Runners up were Phil Doherty, Tim Hutton, Nigel Rowley and Chris Brown on 94pts. Many thanks to everyone who played and made the event such a success.
Congratulations to Max Wilkinson on winning the Rushcliffe Junior Open yesterday with a fantstic nett 67. The best gross was won by Tom Collings, grandson of Iris and John Collings, with an excellent 75 in windy and wet conditions. Well done to all the competitors.
