5 star good salon guide awarded hair salon in Dunstable & Great Lengths extensions silver award holder. Beautiful hair should be an affordable luxury. Originally from a busy Hertfordshire salon, after 12 years tanja and Ruth decided to branch out by themselves. In 2008, number 8ight was born! After a few years it became apparent that they were fast outgrowing the premises.
Sasha, originally a client of tanjas had become a fantastic friend and between them had decided that they would make a fantastic team and the dream behind hair boutique was starting to become a plan. After almost a year of searching for the perfect premises and design with the help of toby it had been found at last! With alot of hard work and help from family and friends what had started as a dream of a perfect salon has now become a reality...the beginning of hair boutique.

If anybody has lost a black and white cat in or around Dunstable there is one trapped inside the old Moore's shop on High Street South. The shop is boarded up and the cat must have been trapped now for a couple of weeks however we have only just noticed today. We have called the Police and the RSPCA and are awaiting their response on what to do next. Please share this as I'm sure this cat belongs to someone and it must be really missing home 😿 xx

This client had tried to colour her hair at home resulting in it going yellow and patchy. When she came in on Saturday we had no senior stylists available so Sophie our Junior stylist decided to give her this beautiful colour change ready for her festival the next day.
