Alpaca's, beautiful animals with lovely characters, I would have a couple of them in my back garden and spin their wool lol Not very practical with 2 dogs though. So shall admire Tracy's wonderful workmanship that has captured them perfectly in her new lamp creation.

I am a typical crafter who can not stick to one craft! These are my latest additions that were created for a wool craft fair for knitters and crocheters (I am a crocheter) in Dublin Southern Ireland. I live in Northern Ireland which is part of the UK. I was given a sheep fleece from my lady vet who had a small flock of Cheviots and several fleeces from another female friend from her flock of Suffolk Mules which are based in Wales. I taught myself using YouTube videos on how to wash, card and spin the wool to make other items out of. I bought an electric e wheel from the USA, had no previous experience of using any spinning wheel but always liked the idea of making my own wool. Being a total novice the spun wool is not perfect and decided to make earrings, brooches and key rings out of it. What do you think?

Castlecaulfield's Buzzing. #castlecaulfieldhorticulturalsociety Something I have been working on for the last 6 months, with the help of 4 other knitters and crocheters from the village. 120 balls of wool, thousands of stitches and hundreds of hours of work. The wings and tweeking done by members of the #CHS. This is part of other floral displays for Ulster in Bloom and Champion of Champions competition that our village Castlecaulfield has entered. Well done to everyone involved
