Quite impressed with the new gates father and brother built and installed at the yard. Not so impressed with the bloody mess left behind.

Dash fill panel coming along. Fibreglassed, holes cut for stereo, electric window switch, the stainless steel panel will mount the handbrake switch, light and fog lamp switch. Also finally got the osr handbrake working. The new unit I put on was faulty. Took spare off the donor car and it seems all good, needs set up properly yet.

The dashboard fabrication continues. Fibreglassed and now needs rubbed down and made pretty.

After repeatedly banging my head over problems continually coming back to haunt me it's time to strip it right back to the chassis and rebuild using a different donor that will hopefully be easier to put together and finish

It was an extravagance when I bought it by there is something deeply satisfying about using my blasting cabinet. Replacement wishbone blasted and painted and ready to have the poly bushes and ball joint fitted next week and then refitted to the car. Also adjusted the grill surround frame to pull the top of the grill back and make the bonnet fit better. Still a bit of work to adjust the bonnet latches, I've forgotten the proper name for them, so that the bonnet will lock closed.

Replacement wishbone ready for sand blasting, just need to get the 3 phase working. Handbrake mechanism made. Shorter and faster actuator, just needs a switch now and somewhere to mount it
