Catriona Rois Jewellery Design
Description
Handcrafted Jewellery A few years ago an encounter with some beads and elastic started me down the path of making jewellery. It soon became clear that beads and elastic would not be enough and I enrolled on a silver jewellery making course. This is when my dream to have my own workshop began. Slowly but surely as each pay cheque arrived I gathered up all the equipment I needed and now the workshop is filled with all sorts of wonderful toys. This year I finally took the plunge to start sharing and selling my pieces, take a look through the albums and feel free to contact me if you have any enquires.
I work mostly on my own designs although commissions can be done on request depending on my availability.

Day 9 - Take something old and make it something new 👩🏻🏭🔨💍 Today's #makesixty is a piece for me with lots of sentimental value. I started by melting some off cuts from previous designs to form this unusual centre piece. Then it was time to incorporate an old ring that I'd been given by a family member, so I cut the ring shank to fit and got to work soldering both pieces together. After lots of filing and polishing the finished piece turned out just perfect and I can't wait to wear it.
And here is the other little cross ✨ Each cross is handmade using Sterling Silver wire, then textured and shaped using tiny files and hammers.
Day 8 A very wise man suggested I made one of my crosses ... so here is today's #makesixty design. There is even an extra one in the polisher 👩🏻🏭🔨
This little satin finish bangle was my day seven #makesixty design ✨
