We're obviously pretty excited for the Babylon Berlin TV series to air, but now that we've seen the trailer we really can't wait! 'One of the most expensive drama series ever created for television will be screened in the autumn – a 16-part crime story set in 1920s Germany costing £36m. The German-language Babylon Berlin series has been adapted from a 2008 bestselling thriller by Volker Kutscher. Set in the glamorous and decadent world of 1920s Berlin, with communists and Nazis clashing on the city’s streets, it follows a young police inspector who investigates a porn ring and uncovers a web of corruption.' Three Sandstone Press titles made the longlist for The Guardian's Not the Booker Prize! Congratulations to Daniel Shand, Addison Jones and Stephen May. If you've read these books and loved them, please vote for them by commenting here: https://goo.gl/gF9QLw The voting process is a little bit convoluted - the guidelines are as follows: Each comment must include votes for two books, from two different publishers. The votes must include no fewer than one review of at least 100 words of one of the chosen titles. Voters must also include the word “vote” in their comment.
