With our debut EP "Origins" now a day old, we are obliged to reveal an even more considerable piece of news to you all. The end of an era for ourselves has arrived. Unfortunately, the newly acquired commitments of various members means that the time that this band and musical project requires can no longer be fulfilled. From Josh and Oli's initial "band practices" in the latter co-founding member's bedroom, the intense Lego Rock Band sessions that inevitably followed them in the early years of 2011, to the addition of Zach on approximately three separate occasions and indeed the arrival of Ben as the final ingredient to what eventually became "Hail the Deceiver"; there has been many a moment. This is remembered with the contributions of former bass player Aidan and Keyboard player of one week Tom, who we would also like to mention. Alas, six years, a strong EP, many gigs with varying degrees of success, hundreds of rehearsals and most importantly, several intakes of the elixir known as "Coke and Milk" later, we see the end of Hail and its many strange and equally brilliant moments. We would like to thank: * Our family and friends, who have supported us and helped to make our ambitions reality. * Danny Bligh for recording and forming our creative ideas into a bangin' EP that shall stand out as a proud body of work for all involved in the band. * Sara Cotton for supporting our development as a band and booking some very important gigs for us, including our very own final show. * Every band, promoter and sound tech that we have ever worked and played with over our time playing shows. * All of those who have either bought "Origins" or ever come to our gigs, showing us an incredibly encouraging display of support and interest. We could not have done this without all of you. Make no mistake, this is not the end of each member's musical output with Josh moving to Guildford to study at ACM, Oli joining metalcore outfit Infirm of Purpose, Ben switching to his natural habitat of the drum kit to play with Indigo and Zach delving into some new and upcoming projects and some instrumental writing of his own.
