Overlooking the picturesque Loudoun Hill – a favourite with countryside ramblers and adventurists – Loudoun Hill Inn is a natural stop-over for commuters heading to Prestwick Airport or to Ayrshire’s seaside towns along the beautiful West coastline of Scotland - or vice-versa if travelling in the opposite direction to Edinburgh and the equally stunning East coast.

Darvel is the closest village to Loudoun Hill Inn and includes a variety of local shops and other services. And with links to Sir Robert the Bruce and Sir William Wallace, visitors to Loudoun Hill Inn can learn about the Battle of Loudoun Hill and the involvement of some of Scotland’s most historical figures…

Your food is prepared fresh in our open plan kitchen and, as you wait, sit and relax in the comfort of our newly revamped café/restaurant area complete with centre piece chimney log fire to warm even the coldest of winter nights.

Our spacious café and restaurant area comes complete with stunning views of Loudoun Hill; sun kissed in summer and frosty and romantic in winter. And with ample space, our dining area is the ideal spot for a bite to eat whether you need to quickly refuel or kick start a night of celebration with a hearty meal.
