Last BBQ of the Summer this evening!

Thank you to all the volunteers that agreed to help out over festival week to ensure all the events were organised and ran smoothly. Without you it would not be possible to make these events as successful as they are. Thank you to everyone that supported our events throughout the week.

Fireworks Volunteers. Thanks to everyone that got back to me on this. Could we have 2 people to close off the carpark at 5pm tomorrow evening? I'll post shortly with details of times to meet for safety briefing etc..

Great turn out this evening for the Pat McCollam Memorial Fishing Competition on a beautiful calm evening. Congratulations to Conor McLaughlin winning the Trophy for overall catch and prize for heaviest fish. Also well done to Mark Fyfe winning the prize for most species caught and to Laoise McCollam winning the Junior Prize for heaviest junior catch. Also thank you to Patricia and Nuala for coming along to present the prizes.

Don't forget the Pat McCollam Memorial fishing competition this evening. Sign on at 6pm sharp. Boats to leave slip at 6.30 and be back for 8.30.

Appeal for Volunteers! As you will all know this coming weekend is a busy time at the club with the Fireworks and Brunch at the club the following day. It is only possible for these events to take place with the help of the numerous volunteers. If you can give up some of your time to help out that would be great and also makes it easier on everyone. We need help on Saturday with Fireworks and then on Sunday morning for a clean up and then setting up for the Brunch at lunch time. If you can help out can you please reply to this post and we will find you something to do :)
