These boots are off to a brand new team set up in the area, giving the children a chance to try out football, without the expense of buying a brand new pair. By forwarding on these boots, we are diverting them from landfill. Lots of energy also goes into the production of new items so by re-using unwanted items first we can help reduce the need to produce new ones, therefore helping us save energy. Our Climate Challenge Fund kit and boot recycling scheme runs all year. Items can be donated at Townhead Community Sports Hub during opening hours or get in touch with Mhairi-cjce14@outlook.com to arrange a time outwith. Also anyone requiring a strip or boots, feel free to come into the office and see what's available. #recycle #cutdowncarbon #reuse #ccf
