Situated in the peaceful & picturesque Moray Firth village of Cullen, No. 30 is a traditional fisherman's' cottage located in the historic Seatown area approx. 300 yards from the beautiful & clean sandy beach and sheltered pleasure harbour. The cottage has a fully enclosed, unusually large (for Seatown!) rear garden containing grass lawn, parking, patio area, barbecue and garden furniture, making it ideal for families with younger children and pets.
Renowned for its moderate climate, the Moray Firth has long been a favourite destination of holidaymakers from all over the world and is home to a population of Bottlenose Dolphins which can often be seen from the shore.
Those seeking a leisurely holiday will enjoy the many walks in the area while the more active will find plenty of outdoor activities available. These include golf, fishing, mountain biking, sea angling, bowling, etc. Nearby, the famous Whiskey Trail is enjoyed by a great many visitors to the area.
An hours drive from Cullen is also the Castle Trail which includes Darnaway Castle, Brodie Castle, Kilravock Castle and probably the most famous of all - Cawdor Castle. The Moray Coast has many old fishing ports each inviting exploration. The Costal Trail passes through Cullen and visits to the Buckie Fishing Heritage and Tugnet Ice House tell the story of a bygone age and brings to life some of the fishing heritage of this area. Tugnet is also a nature reserve having ospreys, herons and owls. A wide range of tourist information is available at the cottage.
