Fundraiser curry and quiz night....... So here's a little bit of detail about the fundraiser evening. In the picture below you will see Millie and her friend Rosie. They have the amazing opportunity to spend a couple of weeks working with a fabulous charity in Sri Lanka this summer. Not only will this be a great support to the charity but it will equip them with some great life skills and experience. The only snag is that part of the criteria is they have to fund raise to cover some of their fees. So hence the fundraising evening. This is just one of the many things the girls are doing and there is also a just giving page too. The evening will be great food served of course by the girls, a bit of fun with a quiz and a raffle is planned too. Every penny taken will go to the girls fundraising. I'm starting to work my way through the messages in the inbox - this could take a while but there are some common queries so maybe I can answer a few here...... The remaining dates we have are all full apart from the following: Space for 4 on St Patrick's day supper. Spaces on the fundraiser night - I will update the details shortly. We will be running some cookery courses in April and May and these dates will be loaded over the next couple of days. It's quite possible there may be one final farewell Supper club but this would be for selected guests only (regulate customers) in sure you will understand. I will try to reply to all messages as quickly as I can.

We would like to thank everyone for their truly lovely comments, your love for LTD is quite over whelming. We have been inundated with private messages and I'm conscious I haven't replied to very many yet - I will get back to everyone very soon.

We've been thinking recently which way to take the business, we have busy lives, a young family and a new born with quite severe health issues and the business has grown to be something bigger than we ever imagined it would be. All these things combined have been proving quite a challenge to juggle and cope with. We have some amazing customers and followers and it's very rare we have had to deal with complaints but recently we have encountered damage to the house and belongings, theft from the house and tonight violence on a pretty scary level. I think that has helped make the difficult decision for us. We will of course be honouring events booked in the coming weeks but there will be no further events beyond those booked in. It's time to call it a day at Lemon Tree in its current form and spend the time concentrating on our family and in particular our daughter who is going to need so much of our time.
