Fletcher last week landed this chunk whilst filming with Ridgemonkey. At 37.15 and not one of the known fish, I’m very pleased that we have this quality and stamp of fish coming through the ranks. No doubt this will be another 40lber this winter 🐋👊🏻👍🏻

Been a good weekend at the lakes.. New lake Record on Steves Lake and our first 30 at 30.6 and one of the big VS commons that was stocked around the 20lb mark 18 months ago a huge frame and one I can't wait to see in 3 years time !. Well done to Jae, I don't think that record will hold for long ! (Personally I think we have a mid 30 swimming about currently !) Also Mitch on Oak landed 2, Orca at a spawned out weight of 38.3 but my highlight of his captures was our Black Mirror Stockie and our very own Shoulders at 27.10 which had been missing for some time and it still looks like it has a brick on its head. And UD (Uncle Dave) caught a cracking starburst mirror from Minepit !. Well Done lads.

We had a special little visitor to the lakes this weekend, Sophie the carp catching kid, I invited Sophie and her Dad to visit back in spring and hopefully land some of Oaks very special Fish, unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be this time around, but she did witness The dynamic duo, Rob and Fletcher land some incredible fish including a new UK Pb for Fletcher at 41.8. Well done Fletcher, The boys had a very special session with 14 bites and 14 fish landed ! Which I think has to be the best ever at the lakes to date. Oak is not an easy water ! Well done Rob and Fletcher 👊🏻👍🏻 Also a big thanks to Rob for helping Sophie and putting her on some spots, it just didn’t happen for her this time. Sophie, it was lovely to have you at the lakes, I’m glad you had a lovely time and that you both enjoyed being at the Syndicate. A little superstar and a credit to your parents. See you soon..

Always great when a member lands his first fish, And even better when it’s one of the A team, With Fish showing in front of him and having over 100 shows in half an hour, it was an incredible sight, the fish were obviously feeding heavily on the massive abundance of naturals that are present.. but the Big Lin slipped up at 41.10 and looking mint.. Well done Rob.

It's been hard keeping these pictures hidden, But Alfie from Nash Tackle within minutes of casting out, landed Orca at a new Lake Record of 44.10 and also smashing his UK PB.. Well done mate, It really was the lake of dreams last week !! Cracking pictures from Oli yet again !

As many of you are aware, I support the Fishery Management department and students from Plumpton College. And this week, I allowed 11 Students onsite for 24hrs and a once in a lifetime experience to fish the lakes under guidance from some of the Team from Nash Tackle-including a mega presentation from Alan Blair himself... To say it was a huge success is an understatement, not just for the Students for whom many absolutely smashed their PBs, but for two of the Nash Team who also smashed their PBs as well and one on a Live Feed! They learnt Rigs, Fish Care, Fish Handling, bait presentation and so much more... One student landed one of my gems... The Big Lin, a once in a lifetime moment at 42lb! Another caught Orange Spot, and so many more. The mini bus left with some very very happy students.
