Our fabulous "Live And Let Pie" menu has been super popular... So, so many of you have been in to try one of our delicious gourmet pies... (thank you..!) Therefore, due to popular demand, we're starting to add a few weekly specials... This week we proudly present the THAI CHOOK PIE...! Yep. We've got a lovely, fragrant, Thai Green Chicken Curry pie on the menu this weekend... It's a perfect summer pie... Numbers are limited - and when it's gone it's gone... Naturally, all others are still available - all weekend... Food served today / tomorrow from 11 till 8. Bar open till midnight. See you soon..!

Due to the overwhelming success of our new menu, we are now looking for two people to join our kitchen team... ASSISTANT CHEF - We are looking for a second chef who has flair and a passion for delivering good food to assist our Head Chef with the effective running of our kitchen. You'll be helping with all that needs doing and, ideally, be confident and capable enough to cover days off and holidays... You'll probably have some experience, therefore, of working in a busy kitchen environment. You might be a great Commis or Chef de Partie and are looking for a new challenge... You'll understand the importance of health and hygiene. This job is pretty much full time. KITCHEN ASSISTANT - Your job will be to help keep the kitchen clean and tidy (and yes – that does include washing plates and the pots and pans..) as well as helping with basic prep work. This job might suit someone looking for some extra work (especially at weekends) or a sensible student (aged 17+). It's hard work. And it gets hot in the kitchen!! This is a part-time position. Just so you know... The Quaich has been "booked out" tonight and is (sort of) closed for a party to celebrate the ever-youthful looking, Joe Newbold's, 40th (!!?!!) birthday. If you are a Quaich regular then you are, of course, still most welcome to come on in... We are open as usual for lunch and will be serving until 2.30pm. Coffee and cake available all afternoon. Something to cheer you up on such a horrible night… Everyone loves a good pie, don’t they? Well we certainly do..! Which is why we’ve put together a super special “gourmet pie” section to our menu… Choose from 6 totally delicious pies. Each fabulous pie is served, quite simply, with hand-cut chips or creamy mash, buttered peas and carrots and comes with a jug of gravy on the side. Now how great does that sound..?!? We are very proud of our pies. Not only do they look and taste amazing but all the pies on our menu are made using ethically sourced ingredients… This includes using only free-range British chicken and pork, wild British venison, and beef and dairy produce that is (naturally) British and Red Tractor and Farm assured. Responsibly sourced and great tasting… Lovely! The “pie part” to our menu starts on Thursday (don’t forget we have lots of other lovely food available too..!) We’ve attached that bit of the menu so you can see what’s available... We’ll be adding more pies as we go along. We hope you like what you see. The Quaich. The place to come for a great pie…

Hello friends. Just to let you know The Quaich will be closed today so that we can do some bits and pieces "behind the scenes". And Sunday is the least disruptive of days...
