facebook.comLots of regular classes are run throughout the week including sewing, card making, art, social crafting where you can do anything within reason and computer class. All day needle and wet felting one day course on Thursday 6th April. £20 10.30 - 1630
One off workshops coming soon: Learning to do your own clothing alterations Saturday 1st April 11.00 to 1530 £10, have a go at sculpture making a make a bird for the garden 27th April 6pm to 9pm £10 or attend the beginners course in sculpture making and make a beautiful figurine on Friday 7th April 1030 to 1630 £35. Its been a quiet week this week at the workshop with lots of people away for various reasons. Only 2 at the sewing club but both Maureens made great things. The card club saw Gwen getting 1:1 tuition and made 3 lovely cards. More people at the art club with great paintings underway.

Lots of items for sale including plants, Mother's Day and Easter gifts, craft supplies and cakes. Pop along before 2.30 to grab a bargain.

Another good day yesterday with the card club and art club. Penny and Pat Jones, Gwen Davis, Eillen Webster and Lynda Horn made stunning Joy cards. At the art club Debra continued to muck around with paper!! Amy and Mags tweeked their speed paintings and Amy started a new canvas. Rae continued to work on the painting of her dad and Carile started a new Mediterranean view. Great work all round.

The sewing class this week saw Margaret Heasman making a peg bag and altering a dress into a skirt for her granddaughter, Janet Foster made a tray cover and started covering pots. Maureen Carter also started on a peg bag. I made a few nore things for the sale as well as giving tuition . On 1st April there is a ine day course on how to make sinple alterations to clothes. If interested please let me know. Places limited to 4 and cost £10

Great but quiet day at the sculpture club, Paverpol and Parley, with Jenny who made an octopus to hang in her garden, Maureen who continued with her loving couple, Tasha completed paint effects on two of the sculptures we made and Sima made a lovely little fairy for her balcony and I completed a fairy cave and the tall lady.

Wednesday's card club and art club went well with the art club making a version of the K card.

The sewing group was very quiet but extremely productive with Maureen making a knitting bag and janet Foster making a glorious pegbag which is very posh and a bread basket (photo to follow) and i made the rest in between tutoring.
