Northern Butterflies
Description
We are a small creative charity based in south east Northumberland working with people with learning disabilities and mental health issues. Creating high quality art and promoting inclusive arts, art making and art appreciation to the wider community.
A core group of service users has been established over recent years, primarily to developing their creative skills and have a creative voice of their own. Exploring their potential to share their art and practice with others through exhibitions, installations and workshops.

We had great fun at our Christmas Fair last week in Manor Walks raising funds for our Studio. It was kindly supported by Charity Escapes who provided us with a great raffle prize from Hilton Hotels & Resorts. Raffle to be drawn in the Studio on 19th December.

Our visit to Blyth Beach this week included lots of drawing and fish & chips!

The police are our neighbours in Manor Walks, Cramlington. Group member Dawn made up a lovely hamper and gave it to a police officer who was going on maternity leave. We wish the police officer well for the future :)
We had a wonderful time in Liverpool last week seeing the sights - we walked for miles!!

Today's the day! We will be going along tonight to join in with a glow stick workshop & watch the bubbles, fire, dance & art!
