We would like to announce that we have been given the official ALL CLEAR from the Strangles virus. We managed to contain the outbreak to just two horses in all, which is something of an achievement considering we have 30 horses here!! We had good advice from the veterinary staff dealing with the two cases and followed it, which led to an extremely fast resolution. Big pat on the back for us I feel!! Would like to say thanks to all our lovely liveries for doing as we asked and for supporting us in the face of some harsh comments and criticism from other equestrians!!!
Just to confirm that we have had a confirmed case of strangles at Marslands Farm. There is one horse with symptoms at present and we will be following a veterinary protocol to deal with it. If anyone wants to ask questions please feel free but we will update any news on here as we hear it!!

FOR LOAN A fabulous opportunity to loan our 16.1hh Dutch Warmblood mare (Marlie) by Heartbreaker. She's 16 years young and is only for loan due to teenage daughters lack of time, due to other commitments. Marlie is great to hack, school and jump. She is lovely to handle with fantastic manners! She is also very good to clip, catch, shoe and load. She won the SILVER medal at Cricklands April 2016 and the GOLD medal in August 2016 with 15 year old rider. She has previously competed BSJA and achieved numerous double clears at British Novice and Discovery level. She has not been in work for the last 4 months so would need someone who is prepared to be patient and get her fit again. She is to continue to be kept at our home, which is Marslands Farm, a livery yard in Corley, Warwickshire. We have excellent facilities including ménage, horse walker, solarium, hot wash box, year round turn out and off road hacking. Please PM me for more details and photos / videos!

4 men in a black Mercedes came down the yard this afternoon at about half past 3. They came down the drive really fast and then cruised around the yard. When I asked them what they wanted they said that they were lost but were really cagey and I didn't believe him! The reg of the car is KT16 ZYS. Please keep your eyes peeled and be extra vigilant, you never know!!
