Great review left on Trip Advisor, Thank you for taking the time to do so. Lovely dog friendly pub, fab food We were having a day out driving in the car when we decided to find somewhere for lunch. As we have a dog we googled dog friendly pubs and found The Royal Oak. Staff were very friendly and helpful, offering our dog a biscuit and drink when we arrived. We both had the curry with rice and naan bread and it was so good. Would definitely recommend this pub to anyone looking for good home cooked food. There was so much choice on the menu too, we will definitely be back to sample the rest. Just letting all our lovely customers know, the pub car park has now been cleared.

We are open as normal again today, fresh veg has been delivered and the Butcher has been, oh and plenty of bread and milk !!!! 😋🍞🥪🌯🥛🍻🥂⛄❄️☃️

Our carpark is covered in snow, but we are staying open for food and drinks.

Reviewed yesterday via mobile Fabulous Wanted to have a little drive out and try somewhere new for food and we came across this pub, walking in you could tell it was a popular pub as there was only two tables free, we ordered drinks at the bar then was shown to our table, the waitress gave us a menu and also told us there were various special boards as well as a lighter menu to choose from too, we chose lamb chops and the chicken with pepper sauce, we made very good choices the food was amazing and the portion sizes were massive and considering how busy it was we didn’t have to wait too long, the waitress came and cleared our plates and asked us if we would like the dessert menu, there was about 8 different desserts to choose from so we chose apple pie with custard and the blueberry cheese cake, again amazing tasty food, could not fault the place, food or the service we received, we will certainly be back !!!
