A new environmental group is holding an inaugural meeting, which we're more than happy to support: Mon. 19th Feb. 7.30pm Quaker Meeting House, 15 Albert Road Clevedon. We've had a great response from people reserving tickets for our fundraising quiz evening on Saturday February 24th, and would love to hear from you if you'd like come as we have a few tickets left, £8 including ploughman's supper. Please let us know asap.
Young people leading way on car free future?
It's that time again! Register now for the Sustainable Clevedon Annual Quiz on Saturday 24th February, 7.30pm at St Mary's Hall, Walton St. Mary (£8 including a glass of cider/apple juice when you arrive, and a ploughman's supper). We're looking forward to Carl giving us the usual evening of brain tease and entertainment. Could cheques be made payable to Transition Clevedon. If you’re one of the many who don’t understand where our energy comes from, how we consume it, what ‘two degrees of warming’ means, or what climate change is about, this course is for you! A simple back-to-basics, with plenty of time for questions and discussion.
