Our ethos stems from Abid Farid, founder of 'Abzolute Artistry' make-up studio who takes an openminded approach to make-up and application.
With 15 years experience in the industry, Abid has now decided to bring the glamour to the streets of Cleckheaton..
Abid's foray in to the world of makeup wasn't by choice but happenstance. He has a B.A Hons Degree in Fine Art for design. It was whilst studying this, he decided to work with make-up instead of paint. The canvas eventually evolved in to the human face, and the rest.....well...the rest is history!
It wasn't all plain sailing however! His arrival in the world of beauty was just as unconventional as his approach to make-up. He began by working long hours assisting photographers and make-up artists, studied from text books in his spare time and practiced on anyone he could get his creative hands on! All the hard work and intense studying gave him a deeper understanding of cosmetics and product application.
Since then, Abid has worked on a beauty counter, taken part in numerous prestigious beauty events, such as London fashion Week as a backstage make-up artist, has had his work featured in a fashion special for Look Magazine and has graced some recognisable faces in the world of show business with his brushes.

Today was training day for the lovely @nashiqbal. She requested a 1-2-1 to brush up on her existing makeup skills because she’d not worked in the industry for almost 5 years.
