Local man Phillip Wells and his boys have entered a car into the Benidorm or Bust annual drive from the UK to Benidorm...the boys are raising money for their local church and for the homeless the family have been involved with the church for many years..please take this oppertunity to follow and support the boys..from this weekend collection box's will be placed on the bar..we will be following the boys every step of the way and if you would like to have your business details promoted on the car ..please ask for details at the bar...below is a brief description of the the charity the boys are wanting to support...please give generously ............ Real Hope is a homeless outreach project in Bradford and a ministry of Sunbridge Road Mission. Our aim in to reach out to the homeless, needy and vulnerable in the local area by displaying Gods love in a practical way. The ministry was setup over 10 years ago and is run by volunteers from churches across Bradford. Every Wednesday we offer a free hot meal, cake and a hot drink to an average of 60 people, this is accompanied by a gospel message and we offer a variety other services. We have recently started a bible study for those that want to know more about the bible and get to know Jesus. Get Involved We are always in need of extra support and there are many ways in which you can help us to reach those that are homeless or in need. Maybe you could: welcome people on the door, sit at a table and chat, help with clothing, help in the kitchen, pray in the prayer room. Street team – join us on a Wednesday evening or early on a Friday morning to walk around the area and take God to those that we meet. Donations Money – It costs more than £100 to run real Hope each week and donations are always welcome. Food – Donations of food can also be made…. (coming soon, contact us in the mean time) Clothing – we are currently in desperate need of the following clothing, either unused or used but in good condition: Mens coats – medium, large & extra large. Mens jeans – waist size 30″ and 32″. Mens trainers – from sizes 7 and above. Prayer support Without prayer Real Hope would be little more than just another feeding project, we need people to pray on the evening in our prayer room or in your own homes either on the evening and / or throughout the week.
