Thanks to the optimistic men of the club, the ladies were coaxed into playing our first Captain's Invitation Shield tournament in the rain! We defied the rain, played some great tennis and finished in sunshine, with Christian & Wendy leaving victorious! Well done everyone.... 🎾🎾🌦☔️🌤

Thanks to Wendy & Tracey for organising a great Ladies Tournament yesterday! There was some great tennis, lots of laughs and a lovely lunch!

Don't forget our first social of the year, the Wimbledon Ticket Draw @ The Crown on Wednesday 16th. To be in with a chance you will need to have paid your 2016 subs and have registered your BTM. Don't forget there is the defib training tomorrow 10am at the club with Jon. Also, there is only 1 week to go to opt in for the Wimbledon ballot. It's free to do and only takes a minute, without it you can't be in the draw.

Hoping for Wimbledon tickets this year? As per last year you need to ensure you 'opt in' on the BT website by 19th February. 1) You have to be a British Tennis Member (BTM) and affiliated to Claverdon Tennis Club! You can be affiliated to more than one club so if you are a BTM attached to another club please ensure your are also affiliated to Claverdon as well. 2) The LTA will base our allocation on the number of BT members who have opted in. We would ask everyone to opt in to enhance our allocation. Thanks for your support & Good luck
