Something a little different.... a skinner for a chap from the US. 4mm 01, 4.5" blade.. polished Reindeer antler with front and rear brass bolsters....Bit of an optical illusion going on in the pics. All the different parts are the handle are totally flush, but because of the reflectiveness... it looks like they aren't in some pics.

Sometimes, grinding can get a little scary... mainly when there are grinds on the spine, or double edged blades.... i grind with the blade held in my hands the whole time, and a sharp swedge like this can really make it awkward..its where one or two of my fingers rest. Nearly had a finger off doing this... luckily i managed to withdraw said digit just as i was about to put pressure on that area. Keeps you on your toes. :D

Hi guys. Not really a new design per se, more a hybrid than anything. Basically my SPB2 blade shape, with an Eagle/crow handle. I find this handle to be the most comfortable handle shape there is (that I've tried anyway) Lots of people report the same who have these knives. I also think it makes the SPB2/woodie blade shape more attractive with this handle. I've never liked the woodie handle shape, or anything to do with coke bottle contours... i find them awfully uncomfortable and they put a lot of stress on the back of the hand as you need to squeeze harder to get a firm grip. This one is 4mm 01, Afzelia scales, black liners... 4" blade, 8.5" overall. Thoughts guys?
