Welcome, this page is for all students who are studying on, have completed or are thinking of applying to horse courses at Cirencester College.
Visit: http://www.cirencester.ac.uk/ The Cirencester College Yard is used by the students studying on the Level 2 & 3 Horse Management BETC. The BETC course is suitable for those with existing knowledge of, or experience with horses, although it is not essential to own your own horse. The course will give students the opportunity to acquire an industry recognised qualification that will enable you to turn a real interest into a career or higher education pathway.

Students will study a variety of different topics in considerable detail - even if you already feel competent in some areas you can be sure that there will be a great deal more to learn and to gain from this course. Previous experience is taken into consideration and will enable you to work at your own level.

The course is taught predominantly from 3 oaks farm which houses a variety of horses: ex-racehorses, eventers and show jumpers. There will also be a number of excellent trips and visits throughout the course. If you are considering either a career in the equine sector or a related higher education pathway, then this course will be of great value.
