Fab day doing yoga and mindfulness workshops for girls in year 3, 4 and 5 today at the Marist preparatory school in Sunninghill. It was amazing to watch the girls blossoming before my eyes as we carried out fun and creative yoga poses following an Amazon rainforest story. We finished the class with a silent forest visualisation and lavender eye pillows followed by positive affirmations. The girls were so relaxed they didn't want to leave. Breakfast yoga club will soon be starting at this school. If anyone knows of any schools who would be interested in running a whole day workshop - could be for sports week or another programme. Let me know!

First class at Guildford high school. We will be having a rainforest adventure, exploring breathing using beanie babies and the hoberman's sphere, drawing mandalas, and the children will be taking home positive affirmation cards and practising tree pose at home if they want.
