Our management team are backed with experience gained from working for the North Wests top development companies such as Millennium Estates now Eden House Estates and Bardsley Construction this allows our clients the highest quality of design and build in our work at Goodwin Developments. Our projects are treated on a personal basis and our specialist tradesmen and master craftsmen take pride in working on or projects as if it was their own. Only running select projects at any one time enables us to be innovative with a client lead focus providing high quality projects delivered on time and within budget

Happy we have finally been given the instruction to proceed on the pre-construction element work on this exciting scheme in the Northern Quarter Manchester before getting into Contract to Build in the next few months
We would like to welcome our new starters at Goodwin for February 17. Ian our senior quantity surveyor, Quantity Surveyors Jack and Jason all have range of experience on a variety of projects in the built environment gained from leading Main Contractors in the North West with a combined experience of over 50 years we are sure they will assist in all continued expansion and growth into a number of sectors within our portfolio.

Well done to our project manager Paul on our Manchester apartment project at achieving an Excellent rating with the Considerate Constructors Scheme "The overall appearance of site was excellent with regular litter picks and inspections carried out to the perimeter. Roads and footways in the locality were well maintained by the contractor. An additional e-smoking area is provided for those smoking E cigarettes containing nicotine. A nonoffensive T-shirt policy poster was displayed in the canteen. Company values are noted in the CRS policy and discussed at induction. The company have excellent communication with neighbours and treat them as stakeholders. Consider issuing questionnaires or feedback forms to neighbours. Paul is aware of the company Corporate Social Responsibility policy and has carried out a number of good works and activities. An excellent public noticeboard is provided with progress photographs printed on hoarding adjacent to the main entrance. The environmental policy is ISO-14,001 compliant and is promoted at induction and by toolbox talks. An excellent display of environmental information is provided. Consider displaying waste reports in pie chart format. The environmental policy is promoted at environmental specific toolbox talks and during induction. Environmental policy is ISO-14,001 compliant. Site access is excellent with good quality notices provided. Paul is well briefed on all aspects of CLOCS and provides a number of sections of CLOCS advice to all suppliers. He keeps one set in the office for employees and staff. We discussed a suitable system to provide safety incentives. There is an excellent display of occupational and mental health information. Paul discusses health and general standards with employees. The company provide work experience and encourage new people into the industry. Employees are provided with a numbered hi viz and this relates to relevant medical conditions which may be retrieved from a fully manned office. I was particularly impressed by the way that Paul has improved an already good site from the previous registration into an excellent site for this registration. He had thoroughly investigated CLOCS and provided detailed information to suppliers. He also took copious notes during our meeting and produced photographic evidence of items that we discussed that could be implemented to improve site following the visit. Unfortunately, these could not be included in this report but Paul should be congratulated for his enthusiasm for the Scheme and dedication to the company and employees on site. The management team at Goodwin along with our partnering clients design team are currently working hard to produce the final construction package to enable San Court Manchester to go under major construction early March. New build consists of two levels of basement car parking, groundfloor retail and commercial with 55 apartments ranging from 2 bedroom to 5 bedroom including luxury penthouses - in the heart of Manchester 🇰🇼🇬🇧🇾🇪
