Something for the grown-ups!!! 31st August - 1st September 2019 ReBoot is nearly upon us and the team have been working hard to make it more exciting than ever! On arrival, we have lined up an action packed afternoon where you can fly through the woods on our newly extended and refurbished Twin Zips, take aim in the rifle range, go against the clock in the pedal cart Grand Prix, take up the Gladiator challenge or blindly navigate your way through the woods on our nightline. The evening will be no time for rest though and after a quick bite to eat, they’ll be inflatable fun before working out those brain cells at the PACCAR quiz. If that wasn’t enough, on Sunday Polaris Wilderness will be running Bushcraft workshops, they’ll be a pioneering live build and the chance to have a go at smaller projects, mapping and navigation as well as the opportunity to try lots of programme ideas to take back to your sections. On top of this we’ll be running archery, high ropes, Quick Drop, Climbing, Crate Stacking and the Leap of Faith. Haven’t booked yet? Welcome to the longest day!! While hundreds of people gathered at Stonehenge this morning to welcome the sunrise, the team at PACCAR have been busy planning a new exciting event for 2020. To celebrate the Summer Solstice, PACCAR will host SunStock24; an all action festival for Explorer Scouts and Senior Section Guides. From 10am Saturday right through until 10am Sunday, PACCAR will have 24 hours of non-stop activity….challenge your friends to a midnight archery session, fly down the zip wires at 3am or make your way through the treetops as the sunrises. Add to that music, a foam party and open mic sessions and there really won’t be time to sleep! It’s back. As part of our Elements weekend, SkyCamp returns to PACCAR Scout Camp on 27th-29th September. Explorers, Senior Section Guides, Network and Leader teams will make their homes in the treetops for the weekend with challenges and distractions along the way. £20 per person. Elements 2019 - Scouts 27th-29th September **NOW FULLY BOOKED FOR SCOUTS** The Scouts will be in the depths of PACCAR woods ready to take on our Water challenge as they embark on a bushcraft weekend. After a series of workshops, Scouts will compete against each other and put their new skills to the test by going back to basics and prepare to sleep in their own shelters, cook on an open fire and live in the woods for the weekend. On Sunday, the competition hots up and Scouts will race through the woods, completing tasks along the way in our Beaver Grylls challenge. Who will the trophy go to this year? The weekend is just £50 per participant and Scouts which includes a supper on Friday and then all meals through until Sunday lunchtime.
