The word Chakra originates from the sanskrit word meaning "wheel" or "circle" and a chakra is a constantly revolving wheel of energy. The chakras are the link between our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual bodies and when they are not in balance the energy flow is disrupted which can lead to mental, physical, emotional and spiritual dis-ease. When the energy is free flowing this leads to a feeling of wellbeing.
