Fly Fishing Only Cairn Farm Fly Fishery is one of Northern Ireland's newest natural springwater lakes set in the forested hills between Carrickfergus and Ballyclare, Co. Antrim. The 4 acre fly only lake offers the angler the opportunity to fish for the best quality rainbow trout ranging from 1 1/2lbs up to 15lbs. we are open all year round (except xmas day) from 8-30am til dusk.
Club outings, corporate days, youth and school groups are most welcome.
Excellent facilities and hot food available. Free tea and coffee. Stocked every fortnight with the best quality rainbow trout.
Concessions for senior citizens and disabled persons.

We had a large galvanised humane fox /otter trap stolen from the fishery last night if any of our friends and fellow anglers hear or are offered to buy like this anything would be very grateful if you could pm me please.
CAIRN FARM COMPETITION 5TH MARCH A big thank you too all the anglers who took part in the competition. The competition was won by 16 year old Cori Webster with 9 fish. In 2nd place was mark Irwin with 8 fish , in 3rd place John Webster with 8 fish. In total 63 fish caught on buzzers , blobs and various lures. A special thank you too Trevor Irwin who organised the competition and well done too all the anglers .

CAIRNFARM WINTER FISHOFF 2017 COMPETITION This competition is based over 6 weeks starting Sunday 12th February and Sunday the 19th of February,then 2nd and 3rd Sunday in March and 2nd and 3rd Sunday in April.It is based on a first come first served basis so please be quick in booking your place.Entrance fee will be £25 +£10 for days fishing, then £10 per heat thereafter, ALL entrance fee:s must be paid by Friday 27th January for further information and to pre book please call Trevor on 07788423683 First prize will be £500 2nd £300 3rd £150 4th £90 5th £70 6th £40 ..All the competition rules will be given out when paying registration fee,it will be run on a 6 fish bag limit catch& release with 1st fish being measured on each heat points will be awarded at the end of the competition for overall fish length.
