RSPB Birdwatch 2018 Saturday 27th to Monday 29th January Every year around the end of January more than half a million people from across the UK take part in the world’s largest wildlife survey....the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch. People count the most number of birds of each species they see in one hour from their back garden, allotment or local green space. Hosted by Fen Ditton Gardening Club at the Church Community Hall Find out more what birds are living around Abbey and could be visiting your gardens...from jays, 2 species of woodpeckers, long-tailed tits to coal tits, goldcrests and song thrushes. You can often see kingfishers, and sometimes elegant little egrets, along Cherry Hinton Brook! Do you have other birds in your garden?

Five of us were out in the Orchard this past Friday planting two trees and trimming back the soft fruits. Looking forward to welcoming new volunteers in the Spring. Come and join us if you like 🤗
