Moo Music CDs will be on special offer, just £5 each, in class for our Birthday Week! We have 5 which have all proved very popular with our parents/grandparents and childminders for entertaining babies/ children in the car, singing along at home and generally getting to know the Moo songs a bit better so you can join in fully in class. Our 125 songs have been specially written for our classes by Craig McLeish- they are educational and entertaining. Maggie Moo has all our core songs on it- Is Everybody Here, Bubbles are Fun, Sleep Wake Up, Mind How You Go, The Birthday Song and other favourites. Last term we focused on Ollie Oink- faves include Red, Orange, Green Light; Stand Up Sit Down, Dinosaurs and Marmite and Giddy Up Horsey. This term it's all about Henry Horse- Crazy Barnyard Hoedown, the Signing Song, Can You Touch Your Toes?, I get a little Tickle- by Easter we will have covered most of the CD. After Easter, we will move onto Doris Duck- faves include- Yes, We're Going on a Train, The Wiggle Song, Piggybank and lots of seaside songs. Finally Barry Baa (Autumn 2018), our newest CD has classics such as Dodgems, Barry Baa's 12 Baa Blues, Time For Bed. Each CD has fab artwork, 25 super catchy songs and a lyric book so you can sing along. They are also popular with older siblings- my kids still want to play them in the car (and they're 7 and 10). It's our 3rd birthday!! We've been running for 3 years and will be celebrating with Maggie Moo birthday parties in all our classes this week! Feel free to wear your party clothes! There will be party songs, treats and prizes and a SPECIAL OFFER- Moo Music CDs will be £5 each in class this week (max 2 per customer- usually £8 each). Thank you especially to folks who've been coming for years and know all the songs including Heidi and Esme who came to our first class in Caldicot 3 years ago and are still in attendance! Thank you to everyone who helped me get to my classes today when my car died this morning on the school run. I'm lucky to have so many kind friends and Moo folks who were happy to help out! Was determined not to cancel our lovely Caerwent classes. Magor classes will run as normal tomorrow! Appletree Day Nursery children and parents- apologies that I had to cancel your session this morning as I was waiting for 3 hours for my car to be rescued and taken to the garage. Matthew will be with you next Wednesday morning with a special Happy Birthday Maggie set.

So what does Moo Music involve? Well, this week we welcomed everyone and jumped, jiggled and stamped to warm up. Then we met the Maggie Moo and Henry puppets and practised animal signs in the Signing Song. Then we did an action song (Can You Touch Your Toes?) and clip clopped plastic cups to Giddy Up Horsey before building towers with them (and knocking them down). Next, we played a range of percussion instruments to Henry Horse's Hip Hop Clip Clop and went to Sleep and then Woke Up when the cockerel crowed. We then blew Bubbles, relaxed under the parachute to Flutterby Butterfly, danced a Hoe Down and finished with a funny song about sneezes, coughs, hiccups and burps. We always end with Mind How You Go and stickers and often another cuddle with Maggie Moo! Wow- 40 fun packed minutes! The classes are designed for children aged 18mths- 4yrs and their siblings (discounted, babies under 6mths are free to accompany an older sibling). They help foster many skills- social, musical, listening, co-ordination, speech, sharing etc and are a good preparation for nursery/school. They are also a lovely shared experience for children and their parents/grandparents. Our unique songs have been specially written for children - educational and entertaining. Our next Saturday Special will be at Caldicot Methodist on 17th Feb (a.m). There will be a Baby Moo class (under 2s) and a mixed Moo Music class for children under 7 approx. This is aimed at working parents, Daddies/older siblings who'd like to see what class is all about- but all are welcome, new folks included. There will be a music session in the cosy carpeted room and refreshments inc gingerbread heart decorating in the cafe area (like last year!). More info and booking to follow soon xx

We love sharing Moosical Fun at birthday parties- we have two tmrw- Isla and her 4 friends are celebrating being 2 and then we're joining Ellis for his jungle themed 1st birthday in the afternoon. It is a pleasure to be part your little Moo-vers birthdays! What does it involve? Well, we typically do a Moo Music birthday set for around 40 mins in the first half of the party. We can include your favourite Moo songs, link to a theme or your child's current interests. We bring instruments and fun props (often the sparkly pompoms!). We can run party games and bring Pass the Parcel and party bags for a supplement. A Moo BD card and quality Moo present are included for the birthday child. We do special Baby Moo first birthdays and cater for ages up to around 8; it's also lovely when all the parents and grandparents start joining in!! Prices start at £60 for up to 15 children and a £30 deposit is paid to secure the time slot on booking- usually 2/3 months in advance. We are currently full for January but we do have a couple of slots available in Feb and March. Please get in touch if you have a birthday coming round and are interested xx
