Throwback throwing Punches 🥊 Thursday. This weeks 1:1 PT with Andy was all about CORE training. Andy is an expert Cyclist 🚴🏼♀️ 🚵🏻♀️ and it’s very important to keep a strong core during his races. We started by first holding a weighted 60s plank, once this was mastered it was time to up the game 😜. More weight and to add a punch 🥊 to throw him off balance. Working our way up to 10kg - but keeping the mid section as still as possible and not letting the plate fall off. It’s one tough Workout. Awesome work mate, let’s hope you’re feeling it today 😬😬 (Video was filmed in Reverse 😂)
Lifting weights 🏋🏼♂️, then jumping around until we are absolutely shattered 😴. It can only mean one thing 😬 - Wednesday PUMP and METAFIT are complete!!! Winning Wednesday with some Front Squats 🏋🏼♂️ 🏋🏼♀️💪🏼💪🏼. These are a great change and challenge the body by placing the weight in front, this helps by pulling the body forward and increasing knee flexion as the lifter descends into a squat. This then places more emphasis on the quads rather than the glutes whilst also challenging the lower back to remain upright and prevent the torso from falling forward. Tone it up Tuesday 💪🏼 with this tough little combo!! 11 Step Jumps and 1 Push Up for 60-90s. Such a simple yet killer of a workout, all rolled into one 😜😬, and the best thing!!?!! You can do it anywhere 😊 - outside in the park on a bench or even in the living room with your sofa 🛋 and coffee ☕️ table 👍🏼 - no excuses 😆 . Throwback Tuesday with @emmakaraoke trying some 70kg raised heel squats 💪🏼🏋🏼♂️. These are great for decreasing the range of motion at the hip and improving the range of motion at the knee, helping to recruit more quadriceps muscle fibers for maximum burn 🔥 🔥 !!Awesome effort Emma, especially as it was the first time you’d ever tried them and you managed 70kg!!!
