In the previous images, we've been posting our ground source heat pump installation images, from the slinky loops on the grounds, all the way back to the house itself. As you can see by this latest image, we're now inside the plant room where the heat pump, cylinder and controls are situated soon to be commissioned and ready to provide heat and hot water. if you have any questions about ground source renewable technology, then please email us at info@plumbingandrenewables.co.uk - http://ow.ly/ESXN30amq9b

Although we design, supply and install heat pumps such as Dimplex and Kensa models, the more frequent installs at the moment are from Mitsibushi’s Ecodan range. The below is one of our most recent installs and what you can see in this image, is the very neat ‘outdoor unit’ of the heat pump package. This homeowner will now have an energy efficient heat source, as well as the benefits of regular payments from the Renewable Heat Incentive. If you have any questions about heat pumps, biomass or solar thermal, please don’t hesitate to contact us. info@plumbingandrenewables.co.uk #heatpumps #renewableenergy

Ground Source Heat Pump Installation #2 – In our last post, we shared an image of the slinky pipes which draw the available heat from the ground for heating and hot water. In this update, we’re working our way back toward the property with an image of the manifold chamber. This is where all of those slinky pipes meet up, before sending the usable heat to the plant room. More pics’ to follow – http://ow.ly/9G8M309FeoE #groundsource #gshp #renewableenergy #kensa

Works are moving along nicely with one of our Heat Pumps and as you can see, these Ground Source installations are large systems to install. What you can see in this image, is one of the slinky pipes which draws the available energy from the ground converting it into usable heat for central heating and hot water. More pics’ to follow, however please contact us if you have any questions about our design, supply and installations of renewable products and the funding available - http://ow.ly/t87e309vHG1 #heatpumps #renewableenergy

This year sees us moving forward with more Ground Source Heat Pump projects due to this technology becoming a popular choice for new builds. Two types of systems can be installed, not only in new builds but in existing properties; one is the horizontal slinky method and the other is the vertical borehole. Both draw the available energy from the ground and convert it to usable heat for the household heating and hot water system. We’ll have many images to share over the coming weeks and months and if you’d like to know more, please feel free to contact us on info@plumbingandrenewables.co.uk. - http://ow.ly/XypA3093Q7c #groundsource #renewableenergy

That's another solar thermal system installed and ready to collect energy from the Moray Coast skies. This 2 panel in-roof system will produce 60% of the customer's hot water needs on an annual basis, so as soon as their build is complete, they'll have a renewable technology providing free hot water. If you'd like to know more about solar thermal or the other renewable technologies on the market, then please contact us on 01343 831193 or email us at info@plumbingandrenewables.co.uk.

Air Source Heat Pumps - We're off an running after the new year break now and the majority of our first projects of 2017 will be the installation of air source heat pumps. One in manufacturer in particular, is the popular Mitsubishi Ecodan which we've used many times in the past, as an ideal choice for new build projects as well existing properties. We'll have some installation images to post in the coming weeks but in the meantime, if you have any questions about heat pumps or #renewableenergy, please feel free to contact us or visit our website for more information - http://ow.ly/eJSO3085idg

It's great to see the new innovative designs and the ever increasing insulation standard as we continue to work with many new build projects. This one is a property in the highlands and even though the weather has turned frosty, the engineers carry on regardless! We're on the first stage underfloor heating at the moment and along with the design and insulation of the building, this will make for a very efficient home indeed - http://ow.ly/WuRM306REiJ
