Description
A seaside cottage with sea views from all the main windows. Sitting where the lovely River Brora meets the sea, Ataireachd Ard is a perfect setting.
The cottage is called AtaireachdArd. This means surging waters-the cottage lies where the beautiful Brora reaches the sea. All windows face the sea. The cottage sleeps 7, has 3 bedrooms, the largest has a king size bed and is en-suite, the middle one is double and the end room has 3 single beds. Downstairs there is a lounge with wifi, smart TV, DVD and lots of books. There is also a bathroom with bath and second shower, a dining room with TV, and modern kitchen with all mod cons, full freezer, dishwasher, washer drier and glazed door to enclosed rear garden.
Outside is the start of the Coastal Walk to Golspie via Dunrobin Castle. Shops and restaurants within minutes as is the pretty little harbour-lobsters landed every day!
Rates vary from £380 to £520 per week. Electricity is a wee bit extra. Bedding etc all supplied.
So much peace and space around. Can even take day trips to Orkney!

Brora Golf Course in January. Only one winter green in use, otherwise fully open and beautiful. Not a breath of wind and glorious sunrises and sunsets. Wow.
This link is a lovely clip which includes the walk from Golspie to Brora finishing up at the cottage. Gives a good idea of what the area and the beaches are like although he doesn't mention Brora's beautiful long sandy beach at the Golf Course.
