The information and advice we offer puts the resources of the Business Gateway network, a wealth of contacts, a comprehensive programme of practical workshops and events and an extensive amount of information at the fingertips of people starting and growing their business.
We have strong partnerships with a wide variety of professional organisations and are a publicly funded service with the aim of contributing to the economic well being of Scotland. A recent report estimates that for the £44.2 million invested in Business Gateway between 2008/09 and 2010/11, £301 million has been created in Gross Value Added. That's almost 600% ROI for Scotland.
Business Gateway services are delivered by Local Authorities, Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and Scottish Government with the support of associated partner organizations.
