Our SUPERB Spargo '17 Summary! What a year we've had here at Spargo Hairdressing - from individual to team successes, awards, new faces amongst the team, nationwide recognition and a number of new products to offer our beloved clients, it's no wonder we're all beaming with pride at the 12 months we've experienced - so we thought we'd share the love with all of you! - Director Ian Marshall met with the team at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Children's Charity to pass on our donation raised through the phenomenal Spargo Charity Ball in 2016! - Inspired by some of our customers, we developed and funded our own charity Spargoland and our purpose-built salon with sensory area is excitingly nearing completion! - We spruced up our online presence with two gorgeous new websites for both businesses to improve the experience for our new and existing customers - We experienced HUGE success in a number of different awards ceremonies over the past year, with recognition from a number of governing bodies for our phenomenal reception team, our chief-colourist Katie, Ellie and her placement on 2018's Fellowship for British Hairdressing team, Amelia's award for her bridal hair and the salon itself winning big in the Essex Salon Awards! - The wonderful Masquerade Ball 2017, organised by our very own Julie Day which raised a whopping £9500 to go towards the Spargoland charity! - We welcomed the lovely Stuart Kimber to the team, a great addition who has become a true ambassador for the business and an asset to our staff! Ellie's Done It Again!!! There's just no stopping this girl, and as ever we are phenomenally proud and absolutely delighted to announce that our very talented Ellie Bond has secured her place on the Fellowship for British Hairdressing F.A.M.E team! Arguably the most prestigious and highly-esteemed hairdressing programme in the UK, the FAME team is an annual initiative that was created to nurture, encourage and promote an elite group of young, up-and-coming hairdressers in all aspects of the industry, and has become the stepping stone to becoming a hairdressing megastar! Ellie went through three rounds of judging to reach the final four, including an on-stage audition presenting a model look at Salon International, the biggest hair exhibition in the country. She was awarded her place at the Fellowship’s Luncheon and awards ceremony at London’s The Dorchester hotel, by President of the Fellowship, Karine Jackson, Chairman Jo Martin and the man who will be mentoring the team throughout the year, session stylist Nick Irwin. This year, Ellie has really impressed clients, models and judges across the country with her recent win of the Future Talent award at the Essex Salon Awards as well as her work as the UK ambassador for Sexy Hair UK!
