Readings Greengrocers has been a family tradition for 4 generations, supplying fresh produce to Braintree and surrounding areas. In recent years our wholesale business has expanded to supply some of the top restaurants, pubs, residential care homes and schools throughout Essex and we constantly looking for new challenges.
In 2014 we opened our Sales Counter at 24 Springwood Drive, Braintree, with the aim of supplying top quality produce to the local community at wholesale prices! We stock seasonal produce as well as some more exotic items, so ditch the supermarkets and visit us today...you won't be disappointed!!

facebook.comToday we said good bye to our ‘taste us’ van. Collected by its new owner, who by the looks of it, is partial to a number plate himself 😏. Not sure which of his offices it will be based at though 😆 so could be going to retire in the sun, like the ‘Salad Van’. Hopefully our new van will be arriving new week 🤗🤗
It was a sad day on Friday, as we said good bye to our former ‘Salad’ van. Off to its new life in Cyprus 😳. The customer is keeping the pictures on the side, so if you’re in Cyprus in the future, you might just see her earning her keep 😊
