St Patrick's Mission Church
We're nearly there! Every Church is a work of faith. If man can transform stone, steal, and wood into something beauty what can God not transform to become something beautiful for him. Stay tuned for the announcement for the first service in the Church! Be part of the Legacy of St Patrick's for the years to come...https://www.stpatricksmission.co.uk/legacy-project

The Family of St Patrick's Mission... The nave of the Church of St Patrick's is surrounded by statues of the 12 Apostles...(now newly decorated!) Most Catholic Churches have a number of statues commemorating brothers and sisters of ours who have followed Christ and by their lives, point the way. When we enter a Church, we are not in relationship with the Lord on our own. Our relationship with the Lord is deeply personal but not alone. The Lord calls us personally but calls us into a family. We have a family on earth in the people sitting beside us in the pews and in the people sitting around the throne in heaven. As we look forward to gathering around the altar at St Patrick's Mission, please God, crammed-in beside one another, let the statues above us remind us of our brothers and sisters "above us" our spiritual fathers and mothers encouraging us and praying for us to draw near to Heavenly Father around the throne.
Legacy Project | St. Patrick's Mission | Bradford
As we prepare to open the Church later this year, we have launched a project to honour the former parishioners, priests, and religious of St Patrick's Parish. We're calling it the Legacy Project. We are proposing to erect a large plaque in the vestibule of the new Church. If you'd like to have a name on one of the name plates that will form part of the plaque sign-up here. Flyers will be available in your parishes this weekend. Contact us if you need one! May the Lord bless those who have formed the legacy of St Patrick's and passed it on to us. All proceed will go towards the opening and maintenance of the new Mission. https://www.stpatricksmission.co.uk/legacy-project

The newly decorated ceiling of St Patrick's is blue! Why is that? "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." (Gen.1:1) God made the world to be a Temple, a place of worship and encounter with Him. A Church is a symbol of creation: a place for worship and encounter with the Lord. When we look up into the blue ceiling we are reminded of the meaning of creation. The Lord made all of this that he might dwell with us and we with Him. Announcing the death of Jean Vanier
An honour to have heard him speak at a conference several years ago in the UK. His book Community and Growth has been a foundational resource for all of us in our formation. May he rest in peace and pray for us. A great Canadian and more, a great disciple. https://www.larche.org.uk/pages/category/announcing-the-death-of-jean-vanier
