IMPORTANT INFORMATION It is with great sadness and a tear in my eye that I sit here typing this message but due to personal circumstances I have no choice, as of the 1st October 2016 the Bunny Camp Sanctuary will be closing its doors for the last time. I am moving out of my home of 27yrs and for a short period of time will be going home to live with my mum and dad. I would like to thank all my wonderful volunteers for the long years of service they have given to me both physically and financially without their help the sanctuary would never have worked. I can’t thank enough all the people out there who have supported the Sanctuary by giving 4941 bunnies a forever home and all the financial support both monthly and at the fundraisers.

6th AUGUST ABANDONED BUNNIES UPDATE. You will all be pleased to know Rowan is back from the vets and fully recovered. He is a very sweet boy. Linden has also recovered from his ordeal and is very quiet and peasant little boy. Fleur and Flora have been to the vets for neutering and a very interesting find with them. Both girls had an abdominal scar so I was asked if I wanted them opening up as it looked like they were neutered. I said yes as I have to guarantee they are neutered. They were opened up and my vet found they'd both had an ovariectomy and the womb was still their and very small in both approximately the size of a 14 week old bunny. We reckoned they were about 18/20 weeks. My vet has never heard of a bunny having ovaries removed and womb left would be interested to know if anyone out their has. Glad I had them opened up as the cancer risks and other health problems are still their if womb not removed. Marigold, Rose and Orchid have all recovered well. Orchid and Marigold are now reserved. If you think you can offer one of the others a home please contact me for more information.

TODAY’S UPDATE SATURDAY 30th JULY ON ABANDONED BUNNIES Firstly I want to say the biggest THANK YOU ever on the support you have given us with these bunnies. Between you the total raised is a massive £1310.14. I can honestly say this brought tears to my eyes earlier this week, please give yourselves a big pat on the back. Orchid, Rose and Marigold have all been neutered this week and are recovering nicely. Linden is booked in Monday, Fleur & Flora are booked in Tuesday all for neutering. Sadly Rowan has gone down with a bad case of bloat so is at present in the vets where already £216.70 has been used for his treatment which would have been difficult to fund without everyone’s support. All the bunnies will now be able to have all their vaccinations including RVHD2 which is amazing. Orchid and Marigold are reserved subject to bonding so that is also great news. Once again THANK YOU everyone. Here are a few pictures of the bunnies having a siesta after being out playing today.
