Seems our fame is spreading, a lovely young lady from South Africa has just sent me this article published in a local magazine she edits! It was from the 2015 bike night, hopefully she may visit again next year!

Regretfully, I have decided to stand down as event chairman, hopefully we can find someone to take it on!

2016 Boston Bike Night

Managed to get these before transferring to Mayor's escort, all taken before 7pm, before the hordes arrived!!

Didn't we do well again!! The 20th Bike Night turned out to be another cracking Boston Bike Night, the weather behaved, great turnout of bikes, the whole town centre was full, didn't think we could accommodate any more! Thank you for your support, and also thank you to the the general public, who turned out in their thousands to see the spectacle, probably more than we've ever had before! It was great to see people from all communities in the town enjoying themselves together. Also had the pleasure of escorting the Mayor of Boston, Councillor Stephen Woodliffe through the town centre, who thoroughly enjoyed seeing the event for the first time. Traffic Flow Map attached, some slight alterations this year, mainly that traffic will flow through the pedestrian precinct if necessary, although you will be separated from pedestrians. Please do park where the marshall ask you to, they're not 'little hitlers', as has been suggested, but all volunteers doing a difficult job! Most of all, have a great time!!!

I've been asked by several how much this event costs - IT'S FREE!! you're only expenses will be how much food you want to eat, what gear you want to buy, and maybe £1 for the helmet park in the Stump!

Just to let everyone attending Boston Bike Night on July 7th, there will be a helmet park available in St Botolph's Church (The Stump) in the market place, £1 per helmet.
