opens its newly renovated premises in Bodmin
Whilst the Cornish summer is normally a time to enjoy our lovely county it
was certainly not the case for L & M Auctions, who have been busy
refurbishing their premises adjacent to Bodmin Rugby Club.
The proprietors of L & M Auctions, Les and Mark, have long held the ambition
of opening an auction house and are very satisfied with the result of their
recent endeavours. As they state: “we have created a 230m2 auction house
complete with a secure hard standing area in excess of 1100m2. This,
together with ample parking for sellers and customers, makes this an ideal
Auction venue”
Having attended 100's of auctions and purchased and sold numerous lots over
the last 8-10 years, and following extensive market research, Les and Mark
decided there was a need for their auction house at Bodmin “since we have
started the renovations we have been inundated with enquiries and messages
of good will, everyone has been very positive. Due to this we renovated the
building to a high standard as we envisage the premises being used for table
sales, exhibitions and private functions also” said Les. “if people are
interested I ask them to come and see us and have a chat, the kettle is
always on!”
L and M Auctions believe their first sale will be the middle of October so,
if you have items for sale please go and see them. They offer local
collections at a small charge and a delivery service. The premises are open
10-4pm, Monday to Friday, or by appointment outside these hours.
