The owners and their special team, go to all efforts to make sure your stay is comfortable and personalised as possible and to that end the cottage has all the facilities you'd expect of your own home from washing machine to wifi to slow cookers and extensive kitchen equipment. We just told Lachlan (just turned 7) that next year he could go in the karts but this is fab. Kids aged 4+ can go with an adult and it also has dual controls... this could get interesting when he goes out in this with Daddy... one for the summer. Anyone else game?

The last of the fire damaged Speyside Heather Centre building will be pulled down tomorrow. Soon they will be able to rebuild the new centre almost 10 months after the fire.
Aviemore Ski Shack
Great guys that can give you everything. We had our skis serviced there this year. Not every day you go into a ski shop and see 20+ bras on the wall and find a wild Robbin seeking bacon rolls!

If your into gin you need to try the Crossbill which is made locally near Aviemore. One of my favourites and it just had to be stored outside with tonic in the snow. Beats the fridge any day.
If your coming from NE scotland to the aviemore area over the holidays check road closures. Dufftown to Huntly and there are roadworks again in Aberlour and some in Cromdale. It's not the smoothest of journeys at the moment.
