Blandford & District Civic Society promotes the preserving of the best of our surroundings, buildings and places of historic interest Blandford and District Civic Society is an informed and constructive voice on civic issues and promote pride in Blandford Forum and its environs, we encourage good design for new buildings and the preservation of historic buildings, where possible the enhancement of the town providing a pleasant and vibrant town and community. We also provide Historical education through Heritage walks town trails, Blue Plaques on Buildings of interest, newsletters, talks and other activities.
