This time last year, we launched the Duoxim Arbor at the Alexandra Palace ELEX show. It was an instant hit with installers and was recently given a ‘Top Product’ award from Professional Electrician & Installer magazine. But did you know that the idea for the product came from a contractor? St Albans-based Kyle Gamble thought of the concept for the Duoxim Arbor when faced with a project to replace 200 downlights without damaging an existing lave and plaster ceiling. Kyle said: “When I scribbled my crazy idea down on a piece of paper, I couldn’t have imagined making it a reality, bringing it to market or the positive reaction I’ve had from other electrical professionals!
