We offer under 17 Driving lessons at Bishop Auckland College. This is a great way to get a head start on driving in a fun and safe environment. Who should attend? 14-17 year olds. Our experienced instructors will tailor content to be appropriate to age and experience, so whether you are a 17 year old about to take to the roads or a 14 year old who has never driven before, you are sure to learn some safe driving skills! What is included? Activities include: • Moving and stopping • Steering exercise • Junctions turning left and right • Reversing exercise • Turn in the road manoeuvre • Parallel park manoeuvre • Bay parking manoeuvre Hot drinks and refreshments are available free of charge for drivers and their families. Instruction will be from our own instructors who are all qualified driving instructors and are all DBS checked and fully insured. Many pupils have gone on to do normal driving lessons when they turn 17 and the progress they make by doing these under 17 sessions is amazing.
