Beautiful Cookie before & after today's transformation 🐶
Morning folks Over the last few weeks I have seen some dogs with some unbelievable matted coats, which have resulted in been completely clipped off to the skin 😣 I cannot express just how important it is to be brushing your dogs coats at home daily with a decent slicker brush, between grooms. If you cannot get a comb through your dogs coat between the weeks of them being groomed, neither can i in the 2hrs they are left with me, this then results in their coats being taken off & them going home looking skinned & sad. This is not fair on both your dog & your groomer as it causes pain & discomfort to your pup making them wriggle & snarl in pain, whilst causing extra stress & time needed for your groomer & then resulting in the dog not enjoying the experience. Due to the time & stress on the blades used ALL dogs visiting 4paws that come matted will now be charged an extra £10 - £20 on top of the groom price (depending on the extent of the matting) Please Please make sure you are giving your pooch the time they deserve & brush them daily from top to toe, from the base of their coat making sure they are knot free from the skin. If you know you haven't got the time then please book them in for regular grooms every 6-8wks. Many thanks Angela

Morning All Some of you may already know that for the past few months I've been having alot of trouble with my back due to the nature of my job... With it being so unpredictable lately, I have made the decision to not groom or take on any larger breeds until further notice, as I am unable to lift them.
