Description
We aim to create a space for local art to flourish, along with a forum to celebrate multiculturalism in Birmingham, over a nice pot of herbal tea. Kismet community arts cafe sits in the revolutionary arts quarter of Digbeth, Birmingham.
Our ethos is to assist grassroots artists by offering the support of arts and media industry professionals, while providing opportunities to showpiece art work.
Each month there will be an art exhibition launch profiling the work of emerging local talent. To compliment the exhibit will be acoustic sets from an eclectic array of musicians.
Kismet will also provide a space for the local community to engage with local arts. To achieve this, we will hold a range of events, including workshops, film screenings and round table discussions, that aim to highlight crucial social issues effecting the community.
Kismet Cafe will be place where you can relax, enjoy our selection of seasonal herbal teas and freshly made cakes.
