Exciting News ....Quex House is re opening this weekend! From 1-4pm till October 31st 2018. Come visit and see some of the new changes made to the house.
This April Break- MAKE SOME NOISE! Tuesday 3rd to Friday 6th and Tuesday 10th to Friday 13th April. This Easter find your rhyme at the Powell- Cotton Museum. make your own Djembe Drum (3rd-6th April) and Thunder Drum (10th-13th April) to practice your musical skills at home. Activities times are: 11am- 12.30pm and 1.30pm- 3pm Event Price: Child £4.00 Child Members £3.50 Adults Free of charge but must remain with the group. The Activity cost does not include admission to the Museum, House & Gardens. This event has had to be cancelled due to Anthony, who is doing the talk isn't very well. The talk will be rearranged at a later date so please keep an eye out for more details to follow. We apologise for the inconvenience.
Mums are FREE this mothers day! On Sunday 11th March we are offering free entry for all mums to the Powell-Cotton Museum and Quex Gardens. For mums to receive free entry you need to bring with you at least one of your full paying children. Even if your child is 6 years old or 21, as long as they are your child and they are paying for themselves you as their mum will receive free entry! The Museum and gardens are open 10am-5pm and last entry is at 4:30pm. Prices: Concessions (Child, Student, Disabled, 60+) £4.50 Adult (15-59) £6.95 Under 5's Free Mums Free
Please join us at the Powell-Cotton Museum for the first Conservation Talk of the year. On Thursday 15th March 7pm-10pm come along and listen to Anthony Curwen talk about the Conservation on the Quex Estate. Despite it being a little bit chilly, Art in Quex Park proudly supported by Friends of Quex will be going ahead today 10am-4pm. For artists wishing to paint the outdoors in Quex Gardens. £2 Powell-Cotton Museum Members, £5 non members. Tea/coffee & biscuits provided. Please bring your own art equipment.
