4* Guest House in North Northumberland The Coach House is a former 17th Century Dower House and collection of farm buildings arranged around a sun-trapped courtyard.
Converted to a Guest House in the early 70s, the Coach House has continued to expand and grow over the past 40 years, continually receiving praise for the relaxed atmosphere and fresh food.
In October 2013 the Coach House was taken over by sister partnership Jackie and Gemma Rodgerson whom both worked at the Coach House during there teenage years. With a passion to create a friendly, relaxed, family run business while still achieving the highest quality food and service for all.
The traditional bedrooms upstairs in the dower house offer exposed beams and plenty of character. The tastefully converted bedrooms set in the sun filled courtyard offer spacious fully equipped and disabled friendly accommodation. The large vaulted residents lounge and bar features a great open fire with lovely views over the terrace and orchard. Complementary afternoon tea is served in the lounge to all newly arrived guests on a warm afternoon you can enjoy refreshments in the suntrap that is our expansive terrace. Breakfast and dinner is served in our 2 elegant dining rooms with period fireplaces, beams and feature windows.
